    Hey guys!

Happy weekend! Woo Hoo!! While it’s snowing in my hometown of Madison, CT, Dallas is nice and toasty. The past few days I’ve been skipping around in my flips and rockin’ tank tops. This really is Pleasant-ville.

Anywho..I’m seriously getting the “bang” itch again. If I decide to take the plunge, I want to go big. I want long, chunky bangs that start in the middle of my head. I want Zo0ey Deschanel bangs.

Is she not the cutest? I <3 her.

I’m in a hair rut. I’ve had bangs before and loved them. While the maintenance was kind of annoying, I really did enjoy having them at the time. Plus, they made me look like I was 12 were super cute. Oh, and another perk with getting bangs? They hide wrinkles. I am almost 34 ya know….

    Happy Wednesday guys!

Guess what? Zach rolled over today and I missed it!!!! After all these weeks of not leaving his side, rooting for him to roll over, he does it this morning when momma’s not looking. Sneaky kid. I literally walked out of the room for 2 mins to order my mom’s bday present, I walk back in and Zach’s on his stomach smiling away. I demand a re-do. Maybe tonight?

    Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

Hope you’re having a nice week so far. I went to lunch with four of my new neighbors friends today. They are such sweet ladies. They’ve been giving me the scoop on everything Texas. Apparently every Wednesday they meet up for lunch. Isn’t that nice? Since I’m new to the hood, they’ve extended the lunch invite to me too :0)

After lunch I went to Sunglass Hut to replace my lost Ray-Bans. Sephora is across the way, so of course I had to go in a “browse.” Yeah, browse my ass, I walked out with some fab finds!

I can’t wait to play around with all these amazeball colors tomorrow!

This morning I awoke to Danielle’s text “be there in 10.” My alarm never went off, and if it did, I obviously didn’t hear it. I’ve never gotten ready so fast in my life. Today was my last Nordie Trend show. WAHHHHH. I’m still in denial. Do you think The Galleria or Northpark Center in Dallas has trend shows? Oh God I hope so. We had a blasty as usual. This year the trend show was in the actual mall. I think the center court. It was MUCHO better. It didn’t feel as cramped. It actually felt as if we were sitting front row at fashion week or something. Fancy. I told Danielle that she must carry on the Trend show tradition and keep going. I’ll be there in spirit…haha.

    quick pic from our seats

As soon as the show ended, I met these two cuties, Samantha and Meg. They came right up to me and introduced themselves. Sam and Meg drove up from DE to attend their very first trend show and to meet me. I am so flattered. I made them pinky swear to keep coming to these shows. They are so much fun and the perfect excuse for “girl time.”

    hey hey hey!

I was on the air at Q102 for seven years. It’s been almost three years since I left and went to 923NOW. It blows my mind that I sometimes get recognized when I’m out. It’s sort of a mix of people that used to listen to me on the radio, or people that read my blog. Whatever the case may be, I really truly appreciate you so much for following me throughout the years. I’m sending you virtual hugs and kisses. MWAH!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Oh, and of course I will still blog from Dallas. Absolutely.

    Sorry for getting off track…

Okay, so after the trend show, we mocked 8 over to the Laura Mercier counter. I was determined to get my hands on the Bare Peach lip gloss. I’m a bitch and bought the last two tubes. Sorry, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do, ya know? I was also sold on Lancome’s newest mascara, Hypnose Doll lashes.  I like the new wand so clearly that was reason enough to buy a tube.

As Dan and I were walking towards the doors (we were almost outta there, ) what caught my eye but these MUST HAVE UGG BRIENNE booties.

Ahhh Haaaaah!! These boots are exactly what I’ve been looking for. Just because I’m a mom, doesn’t mean I have to wear flats for the rest of my life. Yes, there are certainly days where I miss wearing my 4″ clogs and wedges. I have to be realistic about it though. I can’t tote around my 9 week old in those clunkers. I’m bound to trip and fall. That would definitely not be cool (or safe.) What I love about these Uggs is that the heel is thick and soft. The shoe itself is heavy and feels super sturdy, not to mention they’re ultra comfy. Sold. This is fab news, because now I can wear my long jeans again. Hooray!! These boots should seriously be marketed to moms who don’t want to wear flats for the rest of eternity everywhere. Go me!

Stu’s aunt and cousin arrived at our house shortly after I got home from the trend show. They’re here until tomorrow (Sunday.) We had lunch at Cosi (they had never been,) and dinner at Seasons 52 (big surprise there.) It’s been a long-ass day and now I’m completely $pent.

Going to bed! Hope you’re having a great weekend-

    Hey guys-

I’m sorry my posts have been so sporadic lately. Between all of our out of town guests, house showings, preparing to move, doctors appointments, etc, it’s been hard to sneak away for any length of time to post. Next week is just as busy. I’m going to Nashville Thursday-Saturday (working something for GBTV) and the following weekend we’ll be in Dallas finishing up house stuff.

    Breath Lisa. Okay.

Anyway..here’s what’s been going on in my little world lately.

Zach is a huge butterball and wore his first hoodie this week.

    "I love to sleep."

The nice people at LARA BAR sent me their newest flavor, chocolate chip cherry torte. They are so thoughtful.

Although I wasn’t at all hungry, I couldn’t resist. I had to have at least one bite of this sweet lil nugget.

Deeelish. One bite turned into the whole bar. Oops.

Very, very good. I’ll save the remaining 3 bars for my trips to Nashville and Dallas (if they even last that long.)

Before we left for dinner earlier, I bundled up my boyfriend in his new ultra warm fleece from Baby Gap.

    Zach looks horrified.

"um, mom, I can't breath in this thing."

Too bad the lighting sucks in this pic. You can’t see the little ears that pop up on his little hood. Rats!

When we returned home from dinner, I ran out to get the mail, only to find this sweet card from Bryan, my new friend at Diapers.com

I cannot say enough great things about Diapers.com. This website is my savior! I haven’t physically bought a single box of diapers or formula since Zach was born. Why you ask? Because Diapers.com is the shit (no pun intended.) I’ve been (and will continue) to buy everything thing I need for Zach off of Diapers.com. They have FREE overnight shipping and send you a $10 off coupon with every order. I even ordered a 45 lb. bag of dog food off their sister site, wag.com yesterday and it came today. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I’m sure you’ve heard of Diapers.com, but if you haven’t I’m hear to tell you this site is a MUST if you’re a mom. Bookmark it NOW.

Oh, and lastly, I bought “The Four Hour Body” because I suck at losing these last 10 lbs.

Is it common to hit a post pregnancy weight loss plateau? It seems like no matter how hard or how long I work out, even how well I eat, the numbers on my scale will not budge. I’ve been at the same weight for 6 weeks now. Yes, I understand that it takes time to lose the extra baby weight. I get it, but I’m impatient and need to get back into my pre-pregnancy jeans, like tomorrow.

Any tips or tricks that I’m missing here?

I realize this post is all over the place. I’m making up for lost time.

Gotta get to bed. Danielle’s picking me up at 6:45 tomorrow so we can get to the Trend Show early and snag good seats.

Have a splendid weekend loves :0)
